Semi integrated dishwashers lack the ability to be completely hidden but do offer advantages over the fully integrated dishwashers, mainly that the controls are much easier to get to and use. This makes using the semi intergrated dishwasher easier and the controls usually look very nice anyway and so are not obtrusive, having the controls visible also allows for a nice LCD screen which can convey useful information about the dishes that are being washed.
